The Model T Centennial organizers are proud to announce an outstanding lineup of seminars. A wide variety of topics covering Model T history, restoration techniques, repair tips, and specialties are presented by the foremost authorities in the hobby. The expert and novice alike are certain to find a topic of interest. Seminar fees are $5 each to cover the cost of printing handouts as well as a light refreshment.

The first seminar on what is now known about how the Model T was designed in 1907 and 1908. Learn about the project design team members, design flaws of earlier Ford models, and how the design progressed – leading to the first prototypes in March 1908.

Designing the Model T — Part II
The second seminar on the development of the Model T’s design from the early spring of 1908 though early 1909. The lecture describes the June 16, 1908 product design review, the two-lever, two-pedal right-hand drive design, the origin of the fish-plate frame, a second internal oil line, the introduction of the cast aluminum transmission cover, the design flaws in the first 2,500 transmissions, and the introduction of thermo-siphon cooling.
